Jo Seong-hwan, Incheon City Councilor (Democratic Party, Gyeonggi 1), has confirmed his candidacy for the upcoming June 3 local election (the 9th nationwide simultaneous local election) and is running for re-election.

Councilor Jo recently announced through his Facebook that he has submitted the application documents for the Democratic Party's preliminary candidate qualification review. Councilor Jo's electoral district is Gyeonggi District 1 (Hyosung 1-dong, Hyosung 2-dong).

In his candidacy message, Councilor Jo emphasized that he has focused on establishing field-centered policies during his previous term. He stated, "Based on my past legislative experience, I will become a practicing city councilor," and expressed his desire to work again by the side of the citizens with a strong sense of responsibility.
