Jo Seong-hwan, Incheon City Council Member (Democratic Party, Gye-yang 1), has confirmed his candidacy for the upcoming 6.3 local elections (the 9th nationwide simultaneous local elections) and is challenging for re-election.

Council Member Jo recently announced through his Facebook that he has submitted the application documents for the Democratic Party's preliminary candidate qualification review. His electoral district is Gye-yang District, 1st Electoral District (Hyo-seong 1-dong, Hyo-seong 2-dong).

In his candidacy message, Council Member Jo emphasized that he has focused on establishing field-oriented policies during his previous legislative activities. He stated, "Based on my past legislative experience, I will become a practical city council member," and expressed his desire to work alongside the citizens again with a strong sense of responsibility.
