The 'Incheon Empathy and Sharing Practice Alliance' (Representative Lee Dong-sook, hereinafter referred to as Gongsilryeon), which was launched to spread the culture of sharing in the Incheon area, has embarked on its first environmental cleanup volunteer activity in the new year of 2026.

On January 1st at 10 AM, Gongsilryeon conducted an environmental cleanup activity under the theme 'Creating a Clean and Clear Neighborhood through Plogging and Jubging' at Ilshin Playground behind Ilshin Elementary School in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon. About 20 citizens, including local youth and parents, participated in the event, collecting trash from every corner of the park.

Gongsilryeon, a registered organization with the Bupyeong Volunteer Center, has a systematic volunteer system that grants volunteer hours to participating members through the '1365 Volunteer Portal'. On this day, Bupyeong Council Member Yoon Gu-young also participated directly to encourage the volunteers and contribute to the cleanup efforts.

Lee Dong-sook, the representative of Gongsilryeon, stated, "Due to administrative procedures for establishing the organization, our first activity this year has started in February. Based on the environmental cleanup activities, we plan to go wherever the values of empathy and sharing are needed throughout Incheon, centered around Bupyeong, and carry out various social contribution activities."

Bupyeong Council Member Yoon Gu-young remarked, "It is very desirable for voluntary social organizations like Gongsilryeon to be established in Bupyeong and Incheon. Many organizations come and go, but I hope Gongsilryeon grows into a sustainable and exemplary organization through genuine activities for the local community."

Meanwhile, Gongsilryeon plans to organize tailored volunteer activities by creating member groups by generation, including youth, young adults, women, and middle-aged individuals. Recently, they have also applied for a resident-led 'Public-Private Partnership Park Beautification Project', continuing their proactive steps for community development and environmental maintenance.
