Park Soo-yeon, Michuhol District Council Member, "Innovative Planning Like Chungju City Officials... Innovation in Michuhol District Festivals is Necessary"

Incheon Michuhol District Council Member Park Soo-yeon (People Power Party, Yonghyeon 5, Hakik 1, Gwangkyo, Munhak) called for both 'innovative planning' and 'thorough information security' to break the rigid framework of the public service during the district's administrative report.

During the 293rd Michuhol District Council's temporary meeting held on the 28th, Council Member Park focused on the 'Michuhol Festival Project' proposed by the district's policy research group. This project is centered around a so-called 'Jeon-Jjan Festival' that connects local specialties such as Incheon Wang Makgeolli with history.

Council Member Park emphasized, "We need to gather employees with creative and innovative ideas into one team, like the case of Chungju City, so they can properly demonstrate their skills in the cultural and artistic field," and added, "We need to create an environment and personnel renewal that can lead to actual planning, not just simple research."

In response, a district official stated, "The policy research group is composed of various job levels from 7 to 8 and is doing its best in research," and added, "We will proceed with inter-departmental discussions by linking the proposed festival ideas with existing media festivals or reviewing them in the medium to long term."

Meanwhile, Council Member Park continued to make sharp points regarding the scheduled 'web firewall and DB access control system replacement' project under the Smart Policy Office. Mentioning the recent frequent personal data leakage incidents, she stated, "While publicity is important, the security of the database (DB) containing the valuable information of residents is the top priority," urging thorough preparations to ensure that there are no security gaps during the system replacement process.

On this day, Council Member Park's inquiries were interpreted as a determination to catch two rabbits: 'innovative administration' for local government branding and 'digital security' for the safety of residents, going beyond merely checking budget execution.
