Bupyeong Hope Park West A1 Zone Housing Redevelopment Project, Construction Contractor Selection Commences

The housing redevelopment project for the West A1 Zone of Hope Park in Bupyeong, Incheon has entered the construction contractor selection process.

The Hope Park West A1 Zone Housing Redevelopment Association announced on the 28th that it has initiated the general competitive bidding process for contractor selection.

The project site is located in the area of 179-6, Sijung-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, with a total area of 7272㎡. Through the housing redevelopment project, a total of 410 housing units with a gross floor area of 51,401.53㎡ and ancillary facilities are planned. However, the project plan may change during the permitting and implementation process.

The bidding method is general competitive bidding (proposal evaluation method), and joint participation (consortium) is not allowed. Companies wishing to participate in the bidding must apply to attend the site briefing through the electronic procurement system (Nara Market) by February 5, and must attend the site briefing held at the association office in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon at 2 PM on February 6.

The bidding deadline is 2 PM on February 27. Electronic bidding will be conducted through Nara Market, and accompanying documents must be submitted directly to the association office. The bid security is 1 billion won, which must be paid in cash by 10 AM on the deadline day. The contractor will be finally selected through the association's general meeting, and if the agenda for the dismissal or release of the current contractor is rejected at the meeting, this bid will be automatically discarded.

The association specified that the eligibility for bidding requires no restrictions on the issuance of guarantees from the Korea Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), and that the company must be capable of commencing the project immediately upon selection. A bid participation confirmation letter must be submitted within three days after the site briefing to qualify for bidding.

The project site is adjacent to Hope Park and is close to Bupyeong Park and Sijung Neighborhood Park, providing good green space conditions. The Metropolitan Subway Line 1 Baegun Station, Incheon Subway Line 1 Dongsu Station, and Bupyeong Samgeori Station are located nearby, ensuring good public transportation accessibility. The construction of the Metropolitan Express Railway (GTX) is underway, which is expected to further improve transportation conditions.
