Namdong District Council Welcomes Business Delegation from Mongolia's Ovs Region... Discusses Small Business Exchange

The Namdong District Council (Chairperson Lee Jeong-soon) announced that on the 22nd, 15 business representatives from Mongolia's Ovs region visited to discuss ways to enhance exchanges with local small businesses.

On this day, the Ovs business delegation held a meeting with Chairperson Lee Jeong-soon and officials from the Namdong District Business Support Department in the council's conference room, sharing key products and market expansion cases of local small and medium-sized enterprises, including the Namdong Association. They then visited the 'Namdong Association' exhibition sales area within E-Mart Traders in Guwol-dong to observe the current status of market expansion for local businesses and exchanged opinions on cooperation methods.

Chairperson Lee Jeong-soon stated, "I hope this visit will serve as an opportunity for mutual development and economic exchange between the two regions," and added, "I will continue to strive to create an environment where small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses can grow."

Exchanges between the Namdong District Council and Mongolia's Ovs region also took place in 2023. On October 11 of the same year, a delegation of over 20 people, including Chairperson Batbolt Tsuiin of the Ovs District Council, budget officials, and doctors, visited the Namdong District Council.

Ovs is a city located in the western part of Mongolia, near the Russian border, with a population of approximately 83,000. During their visit, the delegation toured the facilities of the Namdong District Council, including the library on the first floor of the Namdong District Office, the Youth Startup Support Center, and the Namdong National Industrial Complex.

Chairperson Batbolt Tsuiin's visit to Namdong District is the fourth, following visits in August 2022 and January and April 2023, and he has continuously proposed the activation of human and material exchanges between Incheon Namdong District and Mongolia's Ovs.

Meanwhile, Namdong District also signed a business agreement in January 2023 with Mongolia's Ovs for youth startup support and student exchange.
