Nam Incheon Credit Union Donates 900kg of Rice to Sipjeong 1-dong for the Lunar New Year

On the 30th, Sipjeong 1-dong in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon announced that it received a donation of 900kg of rice from Nam Incheon Credit Union as part of the '2026 Lunar New Year Neighborly Love Sharing' initiative.

The donated rice will be provided to low-income vulnerable groups, including elderly individuals living alone and people with disabilities, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.

Nam Incheon Credit Union has been actively engaging in sharing activities for the underprivileged in the community during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays every year.

Chairman Kim Wan-bae of Nam Incheon Credit Union stated, "In celebration of the biggest holiday of our nation, the Lunar New Year, we decided to donate rice to help our economically disadvantaged neighbors have a warm holiday, even if just a little," and added, "We will continue our sharing activities in collaboration with the community in the future."

Park Geum-joo, the head of Sipjeong 1-dong, expressed gratitude, saying, "I deeply appreciate Nam Incheon Credit Union for practicing warm sharing for the needy in our community," and stated, "The donated rice will be carefully delivered to those in need according to the donor's wishes."
