Yeonsu District Council to Hold 277th Temporary Session Starting January 29

The Yeonsu District Council will hold its 277th temporary session from January 29 to February 6, during which it will conduct a major work report for 2026, appoint audit committee members, review ordinance proposals, and address district questions.

During this temporary session, the council will receive reports on major tasks for 2026 from each department of the Yeonsu District Office, reviewing the key projects to be pursued throughout the year and the overall direction of district operations. Additionally, the council plans to appoint audit committee members for the 2025 fiscal year to examine the appropriateness and efficiency of budget execution, as well as to review the transparency and soundness of financial operations.

Alongside this, the council will review ordinances and other agenda items closely related to district development and residents' lives, and continue discussions on major policies and directions through district questions regarding local issues.

Park Hyun-joo, the chairperson of the Yeonsu District Council, stated, "This temporary session marks the first session of 2026 and the beginning of the final year for the 9th Yeonsu District Council," adding, "We will thoroughly examine major projects and policy directions to ensure that the opinions of residents are faithfully reflected in our responsible legislative activities."
