Park Soo-yeon, a member of the Michuhol District Council (People Power Party, Yonghyeon 5, Hakik 1, Gwangkyo, Munhak), directly criticized the effectiveness of the district's summer heatwave measure, the 'bottled water distribution refrigerator', and urged for a more long-term and safe water supply system.

During the 293rd Michuhol District Council's temporary session on the 29th, Council Member Park pointed out the operational loopholes of the bottled water refrigerators installed in local parks. She stated, "There are frequent cases of specific individuals monopolizing bottled water in large quantities, preventing residents who actually need it from benefiting," and added, "There is also a hygiene and safety threat as someone could maliciously introduce foreign substances into the water."

In particular, Council Member Park emphasized, "Instead of spending on rental fees and bottled water purchases every year, installing permanent water intake stations in parks would be more budget-efficient and hygienic in the long run," calling for a complete re-evaluation of the project. In response, a district official stated, "We will review the efficiency of disaster preparedness facilities such as automatic saline spray devices and bottled water refrigerators and seek improvement measures."

Following this, Council Member Park continued her sharp diagnosis on educational welfare issues. While highly evaluating the economic education program outcomes of the newly opened Sungui Library, she stressed, "We need to create synergy by linking specialized programs in libraries not only in economics but also in English, science, and other subjects with external professional organizations."

Regarding the issue of opening school facilities, she raised her voice to expand the scope beyond parking lots to include 'playgrounds'. Council Member Park stated, "After COVID-19, schools have become conservative in opening playgrounds for safety reasons, leading to a loss of space for children to play," and urged, "Do not rely solely on the education office's policies; the district office should take the lead in securing play spaces for children through communication with schools."

On this day, Council Member Park's inquiries focused not just on simple facility expansion but on the details of management and securing spatial sovereignty for future generations.
