Kim Oh-hyun, a council member of Michuhol District (Democratic Party, Proportional), expressed his welcome for the active budget support and administrative consideration from the district office for the members of the autonomous crime prevention team responsible for community safety.
During the second report of the 293rd Michuhol District Council's temporary session held on the 29th, Council Member Kim highly appreciated the efforts of the administration in improving the operational environment of the autonomous crime prevention team and conveyed his gratitude.
Regarding the decision to increase the number of members in the autonomous crime prevention team from the previous 15 to 20, Kim stated, "It is very encouraging that, despite the difficult financial conditions of the district, attention has been paid to expanding personnel for the creation of local safety."
Additionally, Council Member Kim conveyed the voices from the field regarding the previously discussed 'prepayment system for late-night snacks.' He noted, "I often saw members I met during local activities worrying about personal expenses due to the lack of prepayment for operational costs," and emphasized, "The introduction of the prepayment method, despite the complicated accounting procedures, is an innovative administration that actively reflects the difficulties faced in the field, following the reduction of the payment cycle from biannual to quarterly."
He added, "Although the increase in the unit price for late-night snacks is not significant, the small consideration from the district that acknowledges the efforts of the members greatly helps to boost their morale and enhance their pride," and stated, "This support will ultimately lay the foundation for a safer Michuhol District."
In response, a district official said, "We will continue to spare no administrative support so that the members of the autonomous crime prevention team can engage in their activities with pride."
