Incheon City Expands Incheon e-um Cashback Benefits Up to 20% for Lunar New Year

Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok) announced on the 2nd that it will hold the 'Fortune Dream Event' to increase the Incheon e-um cashback benefits up to 20% for the Lunar New Year. This event will run for 12 days from February 7 to 18, providing cashback benefits that are 5 percentage points higher than the existing benefits when using the Incheon Love Gift Certificate.

The main content of this event is that general merchants with annual sales of less than 3 billion won will offer 15% cashback, and in the population-declining areas of Ganghwa-gun and Ongjin-gun, the cashback will be increased from the existing 15% to 20%. The monthly payment limit remains the same at 300,000 won, and if the limit is fully utilized, customers can receive a maximum cashback of 45,000 won at general merchants and up to 60,000 won at merchants in Ganghwa-gun and Ongjin-gun.

Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok stated, "In celebration of the Lunar New Year, we have prepared this event to ease the financial burden on citizens and allow them to spend happy times with their families," and added, "We will support local consumption to provide practical help to small business owners who are struggling with high prices."

Meanwhile, as of the end of December last year, the cumulative number of subscribers to the Incheon Love Gift Certificate has surpassed 2.6 million, and the annual payment amount last year reached 2.5976 trillion won, establishing it as an important pillar for revitalizing the local economy. Incheon City plans to further invigorate the local economy through the Incheon Love Gift Certificate in the future.
