Incheon City Expands Incheon e-um Cashback Benefits Up to 20% for Lunar New Year

Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok) announced on the 2nd that it will hold the 'Fortune Dream Event' to increase the Incheon e-um cashback benefits up to 20% for the Lunar New Year. This event will run for 12 days from February 7 to 18, providing cashback benefits that are 5 percentage points higher than the existing benefits when using the Incheon Love Gift Certificate.

The main details of this event include offering 15% cashback at general merchants with annual sales of 3 billion KRW or less, and expanding the cashback from 15% to 20% in the population-declining areas of Ganghwa-gun and Ongjin-gun. The monthly payment limit remains the same at 300,000 KRW, and if the limit is fully used, customers can receive a maximum cashback of 45,000 KRW at general merchants and up to 60,000 KRW at merchants in Ganghwa-gun and Ongjin-gun.

Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok stated, "In celebration of the Lunar New Year, we have prepared this event to alleviate the financial burden on citizens and allow them to spend happy times with their families," and added, "We will support local consumption to provide practical help to small businesses struggling with high prices."

Meanwhile, as of the end of December last year, the cumulative number of subscribers to the Incheon Love Gift Certificate has surpassed 2.6 million, and the annual payment amount last year reached 2.5976 trillion KRW, establishing itself as an important pillar for revitalising the local economy. Incheon City plans to further invigorate the local economy through the Incheon Love Gift Certificate in the future.
