[Local Election] The Democratic Party of Korea Incheon City Party Selection Committee Formed, Jo Seung-yeon Appointed as Chairperson

Jo Seung-yeon, former director of Incheon Medical Center, has been appointed as the chairperson of the Democratic Party of Korea Incheon City Party Selection Committee. The aim is to ensure the independence of the selection process by appointing an external figure without party affiliation as the chairperson. Lee Hee-jeong, deputy director of the Aerospace Industry Convergence Institute, has been appointed as the vice-chairperson.

The selection committee includes Kim Byeong-seob, tax accountant, lawyers Kim Yeon-du, Kim Hee-cheon, Yang Tae-jeong, Kim Yoon-han, secretary general of the Incheon City Party, Moon Chae-rin, president of the Korea Beauty & Color Association, Lee Bon-ah, international director of the World Mentoring Association, Jo Ok-yeon, president of the Incheon Nursing Association, Han Sang-jeong, professor at Incheon University, along with National Assembly members Park Seon-won and Heo Jong-sik.
