
The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education (Superintendent Do Seong-hoon) is accelerating the globalization of 'Incheon-style AI education' by strengthening its partnership with the world-renowned tech company Google.
On the 27th (local time), the Incheon City Office of Education announced that it held a council in London, England, to strengthen its partnership with Google and to solidify the future vision for AI education. This visit was organized to create a specialized future education ecosystem unique to Incheon by integrating the core policy of 'Reading, Walking, and Writing' with AI education.
The visiting delegation from the City Office of Education discussed educational directions tailored to the AI era with officials at the Google London office. They particularly reviewed ways to introduce edtech solutions optimized for the Incheon educational field and engaged in in-depth conversations about the expansion of 'Reading, Walking, and Writing AI classes' and the establishment of a sustainable cooperation system.
Following this, the delegation visited a Google reference school and attended the 'Google for Education VIP session' at the education technology fair. During this session, teachers had the opportunity to explore innovative AI and digital-based teaching models that they could immediately apply in their classrooms.
An official from the Incheon City Office of Education stated, "Collaboration with Google will not only align Incheon's AI education with global standards but also serve as an opportunity to promote Incheon's educational philosophy of 'Reading, Walking, and Writing' to the world. We will successfully establish a future-oriented AI education ecosystem by integrating Google's innovative technology into Incheon education."
