The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education (Superintendent Do Sung-hoon) is launching a comprehensive campaign to establish a culture of personal information protection in the educational field and to prevent information leakage incidents.

The Incheon City Office of Education announced that starting from the 3rd, it will promote a 'Personal Information Protection Campaign' aimed at informing the staff of the value and importance of personal information. This campaign was prepared in response to the recent frequent cases of information leakage to raise individual awareness among staff and to secure trust across the administration.

The Office of Education will conduct various promotional activities to help staff experience protection rules in their daily lives and workspaces. The main contents include operating a personal information protection week (setting a focused promotion period to encourage voluntary checks), strengthening digital promotion (posting guidance pop-ups on the official website of the Office of Education and posters on the initial screen of the work portal), and awareness improvement training (spreading practical rules for personal information processing principles and preventing leakage incidents).

Superintendent Do Sung-hoon emphasized, "Personal information protection is a key issue that determines the external image and trust of the institution," and added, "We will do our best to create a safe digital work environment so that each employee can internalize and practice protection awareness, rather than just stopping at simple slogans."
