Lee Jeong-soon, the Chair of Incheon Namdong District Council, has officially announced her candidacy for Incheon Metropolitan City Council in the upcoming June 3 local elections. She aims to elevate her position and challenge for metropolitan administration based on her 8 years of experience in district council activities and serving as chair.

The chair recently revealed through her Facebook that she has completed the application for document registration for the qualification review of preliminary candidates for Incheon City Council in the June local elections.

The Namdong 4 electoral district (Guwol 2-dong, Ganseok 2 and 3-dong) where the chair has thrown her hat in the ring is currently represented by Shin Dong-seob, a member of the People Power Party.
