Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education to Hold the First Elementary, Middle, and High School Qualification Examination This Year on April 4

The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education (Superintendent Do Seong-hoon) announced on the 3rd that it has posted the plan for the '2026 First Qualification Examination for Elementary, Middle, and High School Graduates' on its website.

Application submissions will begin on the 9th. Online applications can be made until the 12th through the 'NICE Qualification Examination Public Service', and in-person applications will be conducted until the 13th at the basement level 1 of the new building of the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education. However, for 'returnees' who are recognised for foreign academic qualifications, in-person applications are the only option due to the need for verification of academic credentials.

The examination date is April 4, and the test centres for each academic level will be as follows: (Elementary: Incheon Seokcheon Elementary School, Middle: Inju Middle School, High: Shinsong Middle School, Incheon Gyosu Middle School, Incheon Dangha Middle School, Special Management (Disability) Candidates: Incheon Inhye School)

The results of this examination can be checked on the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education's website on May 8. The issuance of certificates will take place from the day of the announcement until May 12, including weekends, for a total of five days.

An official from the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education stated, "We will ensure that candidates can take the exam without any issues by thoroughly managing and operating the test centres."
